By CR James I’m going to get straight to the point. If you want to exit the platonic zone, you need to focus on two things. Number one, it can be done. And number two, you must make her jealous. Making a woman jealous is an art. It is one of the quickest and easiest ways to build instant sexual value. If you have any moral hold ups or any mental roadblocks that will prevent you from making her jealous, then continue to listen to the girl of your dreams yap about some other guy that makes her horny. No self-respecting man should allow such emasculating events to occur, but for some reason it happens all the time. Making someone jealous is one of the quickest ways to establish your sexual value. I can not stress that enough. In the platonic situation, she is use to you showing her some level of romantic attention. And if you don’t think she has an idea that you are interested in her, then chances are you are wrong. Here’s the good part about this one-sided attraction. Even if she doesn’t initially see you as a potential romantic interest, she has no choice but to receive and experience the pleasurable feelings associated with your attraction to her (whether it is obvious or not obvious). So naturally when you begin to show her that you are now interested in another girl (making her jealous), you end up cutting off her source of pleasurable feelings. She will experience what I refer to as an “unexplainable emptiness” or an unconscious attraction, which means she will feel drawn to you below her natural level of awareness. The key is to be effective at this whole process. And this isn’t something that is slick or jazzy. You don’t have to put on a silvery button-up shirt or practice endless comb-twirls to make this work. Her reaction is natural. And you are simply benefiting by having an understanding of how women respond when placed in a certain psychological environment. And it is this specific understanding that will give you a psychological advantage. If you succeed at this easy task, she will be drawn to you on a level that she can’t quite explain. People watching the whole thing play out won’t know what the hell happened. And you can just giggle to yourself and say: “An unconscious attraction will always be more powerful than a conscious attraction.” And it is true. It is the reason why people don’t stay on diets. Their deep down (unconscious) desire to keep eating twinkies is more powerful than the (conscious) desire to eat right. Once you succeed at making this platonic friend jealous (and you learn how in a second) just calmly smile to yourself. Just take a deep breath and relax. Do not jump up and down as if you hit a game-ending homerun in the bottom of the ninth. Do not outwardly react as if you created a loophole in the universal code. She is designed to respond romantically when in the presence of man who sends the right signals. It’s real simple. If you act a certain way she will desire you sexually. If you are attracted to a female friend, then this is important to you because the reality is this. Females love to talk sexually about other guys to their male friends as if he is one of their girlfriends. Not only is this a fact, it’s an indication that you have zero sexual value in the eyes of your female friend. Here is the deal. If you are listening or passively accepting the emasculating (balls-removing) act of being radiated by her lusting over another guy, then things are much worse than you think. Many times a woman will say to their male platonic friends “I think he might be good in the sac!” with wide-eyed excitement as if you care. Many girl’s treat their platonic friend’s like they are girls. I’m not sure why it works this way, but if you have no sexual value with a particular female, you almost assume the “energy of a female” by default. If you want this female friend, it should offend you when she yaps to you about another guy. Let’s talk about how to reverse this process. Chances are you are a perfectly straight male that loves women. You just want to figure out if it possible to get this special female attracted to you. The truth is it is possible. In fact is happens all the time and it happens quite naturally. It is not a strange event when a girl develops a “sudden interest” for a male friend shortly after he has moved on with his life after years of endless pursuing. It’s also quite common for her to even “aggressively pursue” him as soon as he enters into a loving relationship. Now all of a sudden she wants him. While it may be easy to label her as evil, the truth is she is simply responding in a very predictable way as a result of being placed in a certain psychological environment. And any rate, let’s discuss how you can purposely bring out this “sudden interest” in a girl. Because from this point on you are going to be prepared. The first step is very critical. If you do it the right way, you will feel the momentum switch back your way. In addition to that you end up initiating the process of having her experience a loss of pleasurable feelings as you place your attention (what she craves) in another direction. Women will always love attention. This is going to be your first “momentum tool”. On an execution level, here is what you do. The next time she does her sexual yapping (or anything that reveals that you have no sexual value), just remain calm. You don’t have to externalize your emotions. You will be more successful if you just calmly let her speak. Let her get it out of her system. And when it feels like it’s your turn to talk, you can calmly introduce your story. It is a special way of making her jealous. STEP 1: Make sure when you mention this other girl it flows naturally in the conversation. You don’t want her to think (know) that you have an agenda. You can say something like “Oh yeah, that reminds me, there’s this new girl that moved in down the street…” and then smoothly deliver you story. STEP 2: Build up the value of the girl in this story. Make her incredible. If the girl isn’t special, than your story isn’t going to have the right affect on her. You have to let her know that this girl is slightly better. Basically, you are going to put her in a competition that she didn’t sign up for. And because all women want the attention to be on them she’ll be literally forced into a competitive mindstate. It’s ok to laugh. Remember, to her you are innoscently recalling a past event/experience with another female or you are telling her about a “new girl” that you just discovered. You are just sharing your joy. Give the friend specific reasons why the “special girl” is better than most females (her). Talk about her breasts, her butt, her personality, her eyes, her amazing smile, anything. Pretend that it is your mission to get the friend to say to herself “Ok, that’s enough! I want you to talk about me!” The good thing about this step is that you don’t have to wonder whether it will work. I’m going to assume that you know that this will happen eventually if you do it the right way. STEP 3: Repeat Step 2. It is a must that you do this way past the point where she begins to want you to start talking about her. You got to make her feel uncomfortable. And you must extend this discomfort for awhile. Jealousy always involves discomfort. If you ever been jealous over a girl, you know that it always increases your attention (magnifies your focus) on the girl you were jealous over. You may not realized it, but is also increased your attraction to her. Most women are natural experts at doing this. STEP 4: If your particular story allows for it, make sure there is an event where a bunch of guys are admiring this special girl. For example: “This new girl moved in my neighbor yesterday. She gets out of her car and three guys stopped what they were doing and just starting staring at her with their tongues hanging out of their mouths. It was like she was walking in slow motion…” You want her to say to herself “She must be super hot. All the guys want her” Also, women get in competitive mode very easily when they see a woman sucking up all of the guys’ attention. STEP 5: Make this step as believable as possible. So far you have built up the value of this super awesome girl that all the guys want. Now you must show that this girl is attracted to you on some level - even if it appears that you are not aware of it. For example: “It was like she was walking in slow motion. Then she introduced herself to me. I was a little shocked because most hot girls are stuck up. She was very friendly. She then tells me that I reminded her of an ex boyfriend and she starts looking at me weird. I’m not sure if that was good or bad.” As you can see this step is all about sending the message that this girl digs you. It is not about sending the message that you have everything figured out. That’s it. Don’t expect her to instantly rip her clothes off and give you a blow job. Just be confident that you sent her a set of powerful messages and leave it at that. And now let’s say that these 5 Steps equal a “session”. Your goal is to have as many sessions as possible. It doesn’t have to be all in one day. You can spread them out over the course of a few weeks. Your goal is to get her to look at you differently. So all you are going to look for in the beginning is “something” that makes you go “Aha! It’s working!” You do not have to worry about what it is specifically. Once you see that “something” you will know. Here is an analogy that illustrates the power of this easy-to-do technique. It illustrates the two phases. Imagine being in an empty white room with your female friend. The two of you are standing up facing each other talking about whatever. Periodically, you let her know that you are interested in her and each time she smiles and says “I’m flattered, but no thanks”. Time goes on and now the two of you have been in this room for about 30 straight hours! And about 20-40 times she has smiled and rejected you. On the 31st hour 4 super hot women (feel free to think of your favorite celebrities) walk in and start immediately kissing and grabbing all over you. They ignore your female friend and they are very much sexually into you. It is almost as if each of them are focused on being pleased by you in some way. This goes on for about 5 minutes and then they leave. You are blown away and can’t believe what just happened. Two hours later, they come back in and this time they step it up a notch. They are literaly doing everything imaginable to you. You name it, they are doing it. All in front of your female friend who is looking very uncomfortable as it this goes on right in front of her face. Then they leave again. They continue this cycle 6 more times and each time they step it up a notch. So now you are in the room with your female friend and 10 more hours have gone by and you haven’t complimented or showed interested in her whatsoever. Your attention is now on these amazing women and that’s all you are talking about. In fact, the female friend is getting tired of hearing about them. It should be easy to see that pretty soon your female friend is going to not only miss the attention that you use to show her, but she is going to look at you a little differently. This analogy represents the ideal impact that you want to have on your female friend with your story. In order to get her, she has to look at you differently. Again, this is something that happens all of the time when guys get tired of chasing the girl or they get a girlfriend and suddenly the female friend changes her mind. Females change their minds all the time. They’re great at it and to be honest they really do need our help. The entire event of converting her into a girl that sees you as sexually valuable in this example features two phases: The first phase is the flattery phase. You probably has already executed this. And maybe you still are. This is the process of one-sided attraction. The good news, is that you have already done some of the work because remember: “Even if she doesn’t see you initially as a potential romantic interest, she has no choice but to receive and experience the pleasurable feelings associated with the interest that you show her (whether it is obvious or not obvious).” All you have to do is complete the second phase (the 5 steps) to make her jealous. The reality is when you tell a story, or watch a movie you have no choice but to place yourself intimately in that story. You become one of the characters. As the movie goes on, your eyes will water. Your heart will pound. You will sweat. When in reality the movie was not real, yet you experienced real biological and psychological reactions as if you were living the scenes in the movie. By the way, this is 100% fun to do. When you tell your story she will unknowingly identify (or compete) with the female! So obviously your jealousy-inducing story should make you appear like the man. If you know any “other powerful signals” that women respond to, now is the time to send them in your story. Make sure the woman in your story is sexually admiring you and you are sexually admiring that female. This creates a two-prong attack. And make sure she is interested and tuned in to your story. Good luck. One last thing. Make sure you look for that something (a change in how she sees you) that makes you go: “Aha! It’s working”. This will let you know if you were successful at capturing her attention, painting the story in her mind, making her uncomfortably jealous/competitive and showing her that the hot girl is attracted to you in some way. Parsley: A Cook’s Best Friend

By Gwen Stewart A cooks best friend, Petroselinum crispum, commonly known as curly parsley, is used in myriad ways in the kitchen. Often discarded by diners as just a garnish, parsley has many valuable nutrients including bet-carotene, calcium, iron, and Vitamins A and C in easily assimilated form. Parsley has a pleasant flavour and is often used as a breath freshener particularly after eating raw garlic and onions. Parsley is a hardy biennial or short-lived perennial and grows 10 12 inches (24 30 cm) tall. Cultivation requirements: fairly rich, moist soil, full sun or partial shade, water well during dry periods. In the second year, yellowish-white flowers are produced. Parsley can be treated as an annual for cooking purposes, as the first years leaves are superior to the later crops. Parsley will self-sow so you can leave it where it is. Curly parsley makes a gorgeous edging along garden beds and is attractive planted with flowers and in container gardens. You can start the plants in the house prior to planting in the garden or you can seed it straight into the location where you want it to grow. Parsley can be grown indoors or out. Grow parsley from seed or you can purchase started plants at the garden centres. I have read numerous times that it is hard to germinate parsley from seed but I have not had any problems. If growing parsley in pots, plant in a deep pot to accommodate the long taproot. Parsley can be brought indoors at the end of the growing season the same as other herbs. When bringing indoors, pot up in fresh potting soil, and check for critters. If there is an infestation, spray with a soap and water spray. Parsley requires at least 5 hours of sunlight if grown indoors. If you are growing it on a windowsill, parsley should be turned regularly to ensure that all sides receive sunlight. Parsley grows well under fluorescents lights during the winter. Hang lights 6 inches (15 cm) from the plants and leave on for 14 hours a day. In the garden, parsley can be planted near asparagus, corn, and tomatoes. In the kitchen, parsley can be used fresh in salads, sauces, and soups. Add to stews, stuffing, vegetable dishes, eggs, tabbouleh, dips, biscuits, omelets, rice and pasta dishes, meat, fish, shellfish, poultry the list is endless. Parsley can be mixed with soft cheeses such as ricotta or cottage cheese. Chop it finely, mash into butter and serve with bread, or melt it into casseroles, scrambled eggs, or pasta. Tie 3 sprigs of parsley, 1 sprig of thyme, and 1 bay leaf together with string to make a bouquet garni. Add the herbs to a soup pot and pull out just before serving. Parsley can be dried or frozen. To store fresh parsley in the fridge, place the stems in a glass jar of cold water. It will stay fresh for several days. Gypsum Valuable Input for Agriculture

By Sarvesh Shah India ranks second on the basis of population in the world. Agricultural land utilised by the burgeoning population, the cultivable land resource is shrinking day by day. To meet the food, fibre, fuel, fodder, and other needs of the growing population, the productivity of agricultural land has to be increased rationally. This requires the use of all resources judiciously. In India, the mineral gypsum is mostly used in the manufacture of cement, fertiliser, plaster of Paris, ceramics and distemper. Smaller quantity is used as soil conditioner, for carving and statuary purposes. India has huge resources of natural gypsum of the order of 1120 million tonnes, of which recoverable reserves are estimated at 237 million tonnes. Over 95 per cent of the natural gypsum come from Rajasthan. Gypsum is chemically calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO4.2H2O). When dissolved in water, it yields calcium ions (Ca2+) and sulfate-sulfur ions (SO42-). Both of these ions are essential major nutrients for growing plants. In addition to this, calcium also plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining good chemical balance in soil, water and plants. Gypsum is one of those rare materials that perform in all three categories of soil treatment: an amendment, conditioner, and fertilizer. The usage of gypsum in agriculture can be grouped into following heads: Reclaims soil sodicity: The sodic soils have exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) more than 15, it must be lowered for soil improvement as well as better crop growth. The calcium supplied by gypsum replaces the sodium held at the clay-exchange sites. The replaced sodium can be leached from the soil as sodium sulfate to an appropriate sink. Decreases the toxic effect of NaCl salinity: Calcium from gypsum has a physiological role in inhibiting the uptake of sodium by plants. Thus plant are mitigate the sodium toxicity, which is more pronounced in the salt affected soils. Decreases pH of sodic soils: The sodic soils are characterised by the high soil pH (>8.5). Gypsum lowers the high pH of sodic soils or near sodic soils to 7.5 to 7.8. These values are in the range of acceptability for growth of most crop plants. Increased calcium uptake by roots when gypsum is applied can decrease the pH of the rhizosphere. Creates favorable soil EC: The more EC value of the soil is undesired for the crop growth. The high EC of soil are due to fertilizer application as well as by the weathering of soil minerals. Gypsum, being readily soluble, results in proper buffered solute concentration (EC) in soil to maintain soil in a flocculated state. Makes excess Magnesium non-toxic: Calcium is essential to the biochemical mechanisms by which most plants nutrients are absorbed by roots. Without adequate calcium, uptake mechanisms would fail. In soils having unfavorable calcium magnesium ratios, such as serpentine soils, gypsum can create a more favorable ratio. Thus render Magnesium non-toxic. Decreases heavy-metal toxicity: Calcium plays a role of regulator for balance of micro-nutrients, such as iron, zinc, manganese and copper, in plants. Calcium prevents excess uptake of many of them; and once they are in the plant, calcium keeps them from having adverse effects when their levels get high. Improves swelling clays: Gypsum can decrease the swelling and cracking associated with high levels of exchangeable sodium on the montmorillonite-type clays. As sodium is replaced by calcium on these clays, they swell less and therefore do not easily clog the pore spaces through which air, water and roots move. Increases water retention in soil: Gypsum when applied to sodic soil reduced the levels of exchangeable sodium resulted in increase in water retention. Improved water infiltration rates, improved hydraulic conductivity of soil, better water storage in the soil all lead to deeper rooting and better water-use efficiency. Reclaimed water can be satisfactorily used if amended with gypsum and water-soluble polymers. Improves fruit quality and prevents some plant diseases: The quality of fruit depends on the amount of calcium. Calcium is nearly always only marginally sufficient and often deficient in developing fruits. Calcium moves very slowly, if at all, from one plant part to another and fruits at the end of the transport system get too little. Calcium must be constantly available to the roots. In very high pH soils, calcium is not available enough; therefore, gypsum helps. Gypsum is used for peanuts, which develop below ground, to keep them disease free. Gypsum helps prevent blossom-end rot of watermelon and tomatoes and bitter pit in apples. Gypsum is preferred over lime for potatoes grown in acid soils so that scab may be controlled. Using Smart Portion Sizing to Cut Calories

By Wayne Mcgregor By now, it probably comes as no surprise that many, if not most people in North America and the UK eat way too much. A plate of food at a restaurant is on average 4 to 6 times larger than a recommended portion size. At the market, labels tell us about the calories contained in one serving, but even an individually sized bottle or package often has three or four servings in it. We are also generally accustomed to finishing whatever is put in front of us at the table. This is defined as completion compulsion by researchers, and it causes us to see food as units that need to be ingested in full in order for us to feel full. In fact, studies have shown that people given a small plate of food will feel just as satisfied after a meal compared to people given larger plates of food. Unfortunately, we are psychologically hung up on equating meal satisfaction with eating all the food placed in front of us. And so we are in the grips of an obesity epidemic. However, the solution lies not in trying to live off grapefruits and cabbage soup, but in eating smaller portions of the foods we enjoy. In this way, we can significantly decrease our daily caloric intake without depriving ourselves of the things that add so much color and flavor to life. Knowing Portions The average portion size is much smaller than most people think. Portions are usually averaged out to contain between 90 and 160 calories. Foods that are calorie-dense come in very small portion sizes. For example, one half (40 grams) of a small slice of cheesecake contains 130 calories. On the other hand, 40 grams of a food like lettuce or spinach barely contains 10 calories and fills a salad bowl. The above examples make a good point that can generally be applied to what we eat, which is that calorie-dense foods tend to be unhealthy. This means that the calories you take from these foods are coming from bad fats and simple carbohydrates. On the other hand, naturally low calorie foods tend to be more nutritious, and much less fatty. The key to cutting calories then is to know the calorie content of the foods you are eating, and to eat small portion sizes of calorie-dense foods, and moderate portion sizes of lower calorie foods. Reducing Portion Sizes There are a few relatively simple ways in which portion sizes can be painlessly decreased in order to cut calories. To begin, always start a meal with a large salad or bowl of broth-based soup. Filling up on low calorie foods will help you avoid binging on the fats and carbs to follow. Using small plates will help to regulate portions. Serve great big bowls of salad, and small plates of meat and potatoes. You can also try serving food in the kitchen, instead of at the table, so that there are not a lot of extras lying around to help yourself to seconds from. Better yet, you can avoid the problem of second helpings altogether by not making too much food. We all have that little voice in our heads telling us that were not making enough: add another cup of dried pasta, it whispers, and dont be so stingy with that creamy sauce. Just remind yourself that no one is going to keel over if they dont have seconds and leftovers for weeks. In fact, although you might get some complaints at first, everybody will be better off without leftovers to snack on all night. Of course, even if you have your home life locked down, there are still all those meals out at restaurants and friends homes. At restaurants, a good policy is to eat half of whatever is on your plate, and take the other half home. In this way, you make one meal into two. The calorie savings are huge! It can be difficult to eat moderately as a guest at someones house where overeating is often considered the polite thing to do. A good strategy is to try everything in very small amounts. This way, you show your appreciation for your hosts efforts without gorging yourself. Portion Sizing to Lose Weight To shed a pound, we need to burn 3500 calories. This means that if you can cut 500 excess calories out of your diet every day, you can safely lose one pound each week. For example, have one egg instead of two at breakfast; have one tablespoon of dressing instead of three or four on your salad at lunch, and have one cup of pasta instead of two for dinner. Theres 500 calories gone just like that thanks to reducing portion sizes. Smaller portions allow us to enjoy a greater variety of foods more often throughout the day and throughout our lives. If we consume fewer calories now, we can continue to enjoy delicious foods in the years to come. But if we pig out, our health will continue to go downhill, and someday well find ourselves in a hospital bed eating nothing but grapefruits and cabbage soup whether we like it or not. By Stuart Ayling When it comes to marketing theres simply too many choices. I often find clients are totally perplexed about which marketing tools they should use and how to use them. To help make your life easier Ive created the simplest approach to marketing that youll ever need. Use it to plan your marketing program for next year. There are only three things to think about. I call it the FAR way to market your business. F is for Focus. 1) Decide who your target audience really is. Be ruthless, but think big. Who will pay for what you have to offer? 2) Then decide which benefits you are offering them. Think of it from the clients perspective. Describe what the client will get not what you will give them! A is for Approach. 1) How are you going to approach the people (or businesses) you have chosen as your target audience? And when, or how often, will you do this? Dont waste your time with half-baked ideas that have no basis in reality. Find out what they read, who they speak to, what they respond to, or where they hang out. Dont guess. 2) Then sit down and think about what resources you will need to put all that into place. By resources I mean: - Finance (dollars, euros, moolah) - Materials (like printed brochures, newsletters, letterhead etc) - Time (who is going to do it) - Technology (do you need new software like database, email service provider, desktop publishing) R is for Response. 1) What response do you want your prospect to take? Be specific. Will they be telephoning you, or going to your web site, or faxing back a form, or emailing, or dropping in to see you. Often the response will be influenced by the method of communication and the offer you are making. 2) What will be your response when they contact you? This is the start of your sales process. Will you ask for further details, or phone them back for an appointment, or take their payment details, or qualify them before going any further. You must decide what is the next step. Then make sure it happens when they contact you. There you have it. FAR. Three little steps that can make your marketing decisions so easy and so effective. Because they start with the client.
